FAQ

Are my images sent to a server?

No. All images are processed locally in your browser and nothing is uploaded anywhere.

What decides the output GIF width and height?

The output width/height defines the GIF canvas size. By default, the tool uses the maximum width and height among the selected images, and you can override it manually.

Why doesn't the background color look different?

If the image fully covers the canvas (cover/stretch, or same aspect ratio), the background is hidden. It's mainly visible with Contain when letterboxing appears, or when images have transparent areas.

What if my images have different sizes?

Pick a fit mode (contain / cover / stretch) and set a unified output width and height to control the canvas.

How do I control animation speed?

Use the frame delay setting. Smaller delays play faster, while larger delays slow the animation down.

How do I change frame order?

Use Move up / Move down in the image list. The exported GIF follows the current order.

How can I reduce the GIF file size?

Use fewer images, increase the frame delay, reduce output width/height, or choose a faster quality preset. Bigger canvas and more frames increase file size and encoding time.
